Grand Hotel et de Milan is the most historical hotel in Milan and is located in the heart of the city's fashion and business district. The Don Carlos restaurant offers an intimate setting with a sophisticated, elegant feel. Dedicated to the master composer Giuseppe Verdi, who spent much of his time at the Grand Hotel, pictures and sketches showing scenes from the Museo della Scala adorn the walls, where soft lights, antiques, appliqué lighting and leather and velvet covered sofas create a particularly charming atmosphere. Don Carlos offers an innovative style of Italian cuisine, where the flavours of traditional recipes have been redesigned according to what their creator calls ‘the new Italian style’. Mentioned by guidebooks and prestigious reviews as one of the most exclusive restaurants in Milan, Don Carlos combines top-level cuisine and refined service with a very atmospheric setting. Opening Times: 19:30 – 24:00. On theatre days, it is also open after shows. The Caruso Restaurant, with its fashionable and informal atmosphere, is the ideal location for a business lunch. During spring and Easter, the restaurant enlarges to external Piazzetta Croce Rossa. Opening Times: 06:30 – 10:30 for breakfast. 12:30 – 14:30 for lunch. 12:30 – 17:00 in Piazetta Croce Rosa for lunch. Gerry’s bar is an elegant lounge in the heart of Milan. It assumed a new, more contemporary light after the restyling by Claudio La Viola. Perfect as an American bar and light restaurant, but also open in the afternoon for tea and happy hour. Opening times: 10:45 - 24.45.
